Vermont Renters Rebate Landlord Certificate – Vermont is making significant changes to its Renters Rebate Program. These changes will be in effect for the 2021 income tax filing season and the 2022 tax year. The first is a new Landlord Certification form. VERAP rent payments affect renter credit

The last date for receiving VERAP assistance is December 31, 2022. However, if you apply early, you can still get assistance. It will still pay a portion of your rent and can also pay the attorney fees for the landlord. You may be eligible to have your utilities paid if you are eligible.

COVID-19 related sales/revenue losses may apply for additional funding

The Massachusetts Homeowner Assistance Fund provides additional funding for homeowners who are eligible for it. This fund helps qualified homeowners pay their utility bills. The Division of Banks can help homeowners who are in foreclosure within seven days of a storm.
